Maeve Dunne
Founder
Maeve founded Privacy Path in 2013 and has worked Worldwide in Australia, London and Dublin for both agency and client side. Maeve has in-depth hands on knowledge of all aspects of the Digital Marketing, Data Protection and is a leading expert in the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Having witnessed first-hand the rapidly changing face of digital marketing, Maeve offers clear, concise consultancy to maximise data, as a business asset, in compliance with the law and best practice. A natural facilitator and relationship builder, with over 20 years of results-driven database marketing. She is also an independent Data Protection Officer.
Privacy Path leads a team of experienced and energetic people. The team has expertise in Data, IT, Coaching, Compliance and the Law.
In-House Counsel
Conor Robinson
Conor Robinson serves as In-House Counsel at Privacy Path, providing essential legal support to the consultancy and its operations. He ensures that both internal practices and client-facing services meet the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance, combining traditional legal advisory functions with specialised data protection expertise.
With over 15 years of experience as a qualified solicitor, Conor brings a unique blend of commercial acumen and technical legal knowledge to Privacy Path’s data protection and privacy consulting services. His career spans senior roles across private practice and in-house positions, including Partner at Lavelle Partners LLP and Corporate Legal Counsel at BABCO Europe Ltd, where he advised on complex international data transfer issues, CJEU decisions, and regulatory compliance matters.
Conor specialises in the intersection of commercial law and data protection, advising on complex GDPR and Privacy compliance issues across healthcare, financial services, technology, and other regulated sectors. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, Data Processing Agreements, and client engagement terms, while managing legal risk and ensuring appropriate professional standards across consultancy services.
Prior to his legal career, Conor founded and successfully ran a €6 million turnover commercial agency business for 14 years, developing strong international business networks across the UK, Africa, and the Middle East. This entrepreneurial background gives him a distinctly commercial perspective on legal advice, always focused on practical solutions and return on investment for clients.
Conor holds an LLB (Hons) in Irish Law from Nottingham Trent University and Post-Graduate diplomas from the Law Society in Information Technology Law, Trademarks, and Commercial Litigation. He is a former member of the Law Society's eCommerce Committee and has served as a tutor at the Law Society on various aspects of Business Law.
An active contributor to the business community, Conor is the former president and a current Director of the County Wexford Chamber of Commerce and regularly speaks at seminars and webinars on data protection law and related topics.
